Davide Toneatti, a rider from the Astana Qazaqstan Development Team, secured the victory in the second stage of the Belgrade Banjaluka race.

The stage covered 149 kilometers from Zvornik to Vlasenica and culminated in a dramatic sprint. Race officials declared Toneatti the winner while disqualifying a rival for dangerous conduct during the final stretch. This win is Toneatti's first of the season.

According to Toneatti, it was a challenging stage with frequent attacks, requiring the team to keep the pace under control. His team did a great job closing the gaps created by riders attempting to break away. The group stretched during the final climb, allowing Toneatti to position himself for a successful sprint. He is pleased with his first victory of the season, noting that there are still two more stages to go.
